The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, February 20 reveals Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get some relief from his pain.
Also coming up, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark) will encounter Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Plus, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will worry about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). And Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will fret.
Y&R spoilers tease Adam, Chelsea and Victoria will worry, since they haven’t heard from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Victoria will say Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has also gone off the radar. She’ll wonder if it’s related somehow.
They’ll agree they don’t have a very good feeling about it. Victoria will say she has a plan on how to neutralize Phyllis. She’s going to get her family to be their allies. “It will gut her,” she’ll add. “I don’t care if I destroy Phyllis’ relationship with her children.”

Meanwhile, Nikki will greet Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) at the coffee shop. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will walk in and Sharon will say he seems to have recovered from his pain and he’ll make a face at her.
They’ll also discuss the fact that Victor’s gone quiet. Nick will say he must have a move up his sleeve. But Nikki will say that’s what worries her. Talk will turn to Phyllis and Nick will say she’s not backing down. Nikki, Nick and Sharon will sit around badmouthing Phyllis ad nauseum, until Nikki gets a text from Victoria.
Once she leaves, Sharon will tell Nick he looks a lot better. Noah will ask if he went home to get more pills. “No, I actually had another pill, in my pocket,” Nick will lie. “Must have fallen out of the bottle.” He’ll say he’s going to the pharmacy to get a refill but Sharon will remind him he said he had more pills at home.
Nick will be absent minded as he speaks, blinking a lot. “Nick, are you sure you’re feeling okay?” Sharon will ask, suspiciously. But Nick, who is obviously high, will say he’s feeling way better than he was. Sharon will say his voice sounds different. After he leaves, she’ll tell Noah something’s off.
As for Nikki, she’ll return to the ranch and Victoria will say she’s going to turn Summer against Phyllis. Probably offscreen, since Y&R still hasn’t recast Summer. Nikki will say she can’t imagine that happening. Then they’ll fret over not hearing from Victor. Perhaps they should file a missing persons report.
At Society, Nate and Devon will talk about Dom and Mariah. “You know how we feel about Mariah, we know her, we love her, but something has clearly snapped,” Devon will say. He’ll tell Nate she showed up at the house to apologize. Nate will say it sounds like she was manipulating Dom, which is downright predatory.

Devon will admit he doesn’t want to see Mariah go to jail. But he’ll also worry about Mariah walking around Genoa City. “She was saying things like she is his mommy too and telling him about the name Bowie.” Then they’ll discuss how they haven’t heard from Lily and Devon will wonder if they should be concerned.
At the Chancellor Park Café, Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will tell Mariah she has every right to be there. But Mariah will say she feels it in her gut, coming there is a mistake. She’s worried she could run into Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Aria.
Christine will say all her friends and family miss her. But Mariah will tell her she went to Abby and Devon’s house and it didn’t go well. “Why would you do that without telling me?” Christine will ask. Like clockwork, Abby and Dom will arrive.
“It’s my hide and seek partner,” he’ll say to Mariah. “I’m sorry I ruined our game, when I told you I wanted to go home.” Mariah will say there’s nothing for him to apologize for. “I’m sorry that I kept you away from your mom and dad,” she’ll tell Dom. “I know how much you missed them.”
Finally, Mariah will turn to Christine and say they need to go. Abby will ask Dom to grab the other table and she’ll glare at Christine. “I’m sorry, you’re supposed to be Mariah’s attorney and you’re letting her out in public like this?” she’ll ask.
Christine will say she has every right to be there. “Why is she not in jail, or in treatment?” Abby will ask. “What about my son’s life or some other unsuspecting child Mariah decides to claim as her own?” Christine will say a judge ruled Mariah didn’t present a danger to Dom or anyone else. “If only I could believe that,” Abby will reply.
